Filter Coffee

Filter coffee, also known as drip brew coffee, is a method of brewing coffee where hot water is poured over ground coffee contained in a filter. The brewed coffee then drips through the filter into a pot or carafe. This method is popular for its ability to produce a clean and well-balanced cup of coffee, highlighting the nuances of the coffee beans used. It is especially common in South India, where it is known as “Kaapi” and traditionally prepared using a metal filter.
